In Friday's non-league match, the host McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs football squad scored a decisive 48-6 triumph over the Keene Chargers .

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Shelton (Dallas, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Shelton routed Newman International Academy (Arlington, TX), 49-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Founders Classical Academy Eagles (Lewisville, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 3. Keene will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 47-6 non-league loss to Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX).
