The Rensselaer Central Bombers football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Lafayette Central Catholic Knights to 7 in the Bombers league triumph on Friday.

The Bombers now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benton Central for a Hoosier - Small School test on Friday, October 3. Rensselaer Central will meet a Bison squad coming off a 75-6 non-league loss to Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN). The Bison record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Lafayette Central Catholic drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Tipton (Tipton, IN) to meet the Blue Devils in a Hoosier - Small School test on Friday, October 3. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 3-3. Tipton lost 30-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage (Monroeville, IN)
