Missouri High School Football - Lafayette falls to Summit Christian Academy

The Summit Christian Academy Eagles felled the visiting Lafayette Fighting Irish football team by a score of 27-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the University Academy Charter Gryphons (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Summit Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Gryphons come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 49-0 non-league win over KIPP Legacy (Kansas City, MO).

With the defeat, Lafayette drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Fighting irish travel to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO) to meet the Hornets in a Midland Empire test on Friday, October 3. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-4. Chillicothe won 47-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast (Kansas City, MO)
