    • Texas High School Football - Lago Vista can't hold off Salado

    September 26, 2025: Salado, TX 76571

    The Salado Eagles got by the visiting Lago Vista Vikings football team by a score of 29-28 in Friday's league challenge.

    Next, the Eagles meet the Navarro Panthers (Geronimo, TX) in a 4A-2 Region IV District 13 test, on Friday, October 3. Salado will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 31-28 league loss to Wimberley (Wimberley, TX).

    With the defeat, Lago Vista drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Jarrell (Jarrell, TX) to meet the Cougars in a 4A-2 Region IV District 13 test on Friday, October 3. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-0. Jarrell won 56-14 in their recent league test against Smithville (Smithville, TX)
