Georgia High School Football - Lamar County defeats McNair

September 26, 2025: Barnesville, GA 30204

In Friday's league battle, the host Lamar County Trojans football team scored a nice 35-22 win over the McNair Mustangs.

With the win, Lamar County advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Trojans host Towers (Decatur, GA) to play the Titans in a A D1 Region 4 battle on Friday, October 3. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Towers won 33-24 in their recent non-league battle against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA)

The Mustangs now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Jasper County for a A D1 Region 4 battle on Thursday, October 2. McNair will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 50-8 league win over Utopian Academy for the Arts (Ellenwood, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-0.
