Texas High School Football - Westside crushed by Lamar

September 26, 2025: Houston, TX 77077

Lamar Texans (Houston, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Westside Wolves (Houston, TX), 62-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Lamar upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Texans host Wisdom (Houston, TX) to confront the Generals in a 6A Region III District 18 match on Saturday, October 4. The Generals come into the match with a record of 2-3. Wisdom lost 49-0 in their recent league match against Heights (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wolves play the Bellaire Cardinals (Bellaire, TX) in a 6A Region III District 18 battle, on Friday, October 3. Westside will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 62-0 league win over Houston Math Science & Tech (Houston, TX).
