In Friday's league game, the Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY) football team edged the host Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Ravens (Ravena, NY), by a tally of 14-12.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY) in a Section 2 B game, on Friday, October 3. Lansingburgh will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 0-4 record after their 28-0 league loss to Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY).
