Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Letcher County Central Cougars (Whitesburg, KY), 57-47 in a league battle.

With the triumph, Lawrence County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Mason County (Maysville, KY) to meet the Royals in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Royals come into the test with a record of 2-3. Mason County won 21-13 in their recent non-league test against Boone County (Florence, KY)

With the defeat, Letcher County Central drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Estill County (Irvine, KY) to face the Engineers in a 3A District 8 challenge on Friday, October 3. The Engineers enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Estill County won 43-22 in their recent league challenge against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
