New York High School Football - Port Jervis wallops Liberty

The Port Jervis Raiders football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Liberty Redhawks to 0 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Paltz for a Section 9 B-1 challenge on Saturday, October 4. Port Jervis will face a Huguenots team coming off a 19-8 league win over Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Huguenots record now stands at 1-3.

The Redhawks (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Ganders enter the Section 9 B-1 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Rondout Valley was overwhelmed by New Paltz (New Paltz, NY), 19-8, in a league outing.
