MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA), 47-6 in a league battle.

With the win, MFL MarMac improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Camanche (Camanche, IA) to play the Indians in a 1A District 5 battle on Friday, October 3. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Camanche lost 56-0 in their recent league battle against Beckman (Dyersville, IA)

The Lions now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Northeast for a 1A District 5 battle on Friday, October 3. Lisbon will play a Rebels team coming off a 49-13 league loss to Cascade (Cascade, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-4.
