    • Connecticut High School Football - Ludlowe sneaks past Shelton

    September 26, 2025: Shelton, CT 06484

    In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ludlowe Falcons football team scored a tight 21-14 win over the Shelton Gaels.

    In their next game, the Falcons play the Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) in a Fairfield County - East test, on Saturday, October 4. Ludlowe will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 28-21 non-league win over Cheshire (Cheshire, CT).

    The Gaels (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Jesuits enter the Southern Connecticut challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Fairfield Prep held off New Britain (New Britain, CT), 24-21, in a non-league challenge.
