The Commodores come into the test with a 1-5 record after their 37-0 non-league loss to Ryle (Union, KY).

With the defeat, Madison Southern drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to meet the Jaguars in a 5A District 7 test on Friday, October 3. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-4. East Jessamine lost 38-0 in their recent non-league test against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)
