Ohio High School Football - Malvern nudges Strasburg-Franklin

In Friday's league match, the visiting Malvern Hornets football squad scored a close 16-10 victory over the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers.

The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH). The Warriors enter the Ohio Valley AAA match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Buckeye Trail got by Tuscarawas Central Catholic (New Philadelphia, OH), 44-15, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers meet the East Canton Hornets (East Canton, OH) in a Inter-Valley - North match, on Friday, October 3. Strasburg-Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 40-12 league loss to Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH).
