The Trion Bulldogs football team scored 32 points and held the visiting Manchester Blue Devils to 24 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) in a A D2 Region 7 game, on Friday, October 3. Trion will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 24-0 league win over Greenville (Greenville, GA).

The Blue Devils (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Red Devils come into the A D2 Region 7 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Bowdon was defeated by Heard County (Franklin, GA), 29-28, in a non-league outing.
