South Central Trojans (Greenwich, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH), 38-20 in a league test.

The Trojans now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Western Reserve for a Firelands test on Friday, October 3. South Central will meet a Roughriders squad coming off a 27-20 league loss to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH). The Roughriders record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Mapleton drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mounties travel to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH) to face the Eagles in a Firelands challenge on Friday, October 3. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Monroeville won 27-20 in their recent league challenge against Western Reserve (Collins, OH)
