Washington High School Football - Mt. Spokane nudges Mead

In Friday's league match, the visiting Mt. Spokane Wildcats football squad scored a close 16-14 triumph over the Mead Panthers.
The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their match against University (Spokane, WA). The Titans come into the 4A/3A Greater Spokane match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, University was nudged by Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA), 22-7, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) in a 4A/3A Greater Spokane battle, on Thursday, October 2. Mead will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Saxons go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 44-6 league loss to Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA).
