Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA), 42-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Wilton advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Beavers travel to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA) to face the Falcons in a challenge on Friday, October 3. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. West Burlington won 27-15 in their recent league challenge against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA)

The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Comets go into the 2A Group 6 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, West Liberty lost by Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA), 56-35, in a league challenge.
