Arkansas High School Football - Melbourne falls to Salem

The Salem Greyhounds felled the visiting Melbourne Bearkatz football team by a score of 34-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds play the Episcopal Wildcats (Little Rock, AR) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Salem will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 74-21 league loss to Atkins (Atkins, AR).

With the defeat, Melbourne drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bearkatz host Quitman (Quitman, AR) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 test on Friday, October 3. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-0. Quitman won 27-6 in their recent league test against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR)
