The Merrill Vandals walloped the visiting St. Charles Bulldogs football team by a score of 50-12 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Vandals play the Potterville Vikings (Potterville, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Merrill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 43-0 non-league win over Tekonsha (Tekonsha, MI).
With the defeat, St. Charles drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI) to face the Eagles in a Mid-State - Blue (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 3. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Carson City-Crystal lost 44-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion (Marion, MI)
