The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) and the visiting Mineral Springs Hornets (Mineral Springs, AR), witnessed Spring Hill's football squad topple Mineral Springs by a count of 18-6.

The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dierks (Dierks, AR). The Outlaws enter the 2A Region 3 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Dierks thwarted Lafayette County (Stamps, AR), 47-15, in a league contest.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) in a 2A Region 3 match, on Friday, October 3. Mineral Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Dragons come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 43-6 league win over Foreman (Foreman, AR).
