Alabama High School Football - Ramsay tops Minor

September 26, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35205

The Ramsay Rams football squad scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Minor Tigers to 26 in the Rams non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Rams play the Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL) in a 5A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Ramsay will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 0-6 record after their 42-12 non-league loss to West Point (Cullman, AL).

With the defeat, Minor drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL) to meet the Blue Devils in a 6A Region 5 test on Friday, October 3. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-5. Mortimer Jordan lost 34-14 in their recent non-league test against Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL)
