The Mt. Ararat Eagles football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Mount Desert Island Trojans to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Region for a 8-Man Large South (8 Man) test on Friday, October 3. Mt. Ararat will face a Lakers team coming off a 36-22 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.
The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Eagles come into the 8-Man Large North (8 Man) outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Ellsworth notched a victory over Waterville (Waterville, ME), 40-36, in a league game.
