Wisconsin High School Football - Platteville can't hold off New Glarus

New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football squad nudge the host Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI), 42-40 in a league match.

The Glarner Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI). The Blackhawks come into the Southwest Wisconsin match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Prairie du Chien tipped Brodhead/Juda (Brodhead, WI), 46-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Hillmen play the River Valley Blackhawks (Spring Green, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin test, on Friday, October 3. Platteville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Blackhawks come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 28-6 league win over Richland Center (Richland Center, WI).
