In Friday's league match, the host Riverside Bulldogs football squad scored a decisive 60-14 triumph over the Nodaway Valley Wolverines.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, St. Albert walloped Westwood (Sloan, IA), 54-26, in a league battle.
The Wolverines now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Valley for a A District 7 battle on Friday, October 3. Nodaway Valley will play a team coming off a 49-12 league loss to AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The record now stands at 2-3.
