Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ), 26-18 in a league battle.

With the triumph, Steinert upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ) to meet the Quakers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Quakers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Moorestown won 28-14 in their recent league test against Haddon Heights (Haddon Heights, NJ)

With the defeat, Notre Dame drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Irish host Highland Regional (Blackwood, NJ) to play the Tartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. The Tartans go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Highland Regional won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ)
