The Oneonta Yellowjackets football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting Susquehanna Valley Sabers to 28 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Charles O. Dickerson for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Oneonta will meet a Blue Raiders team coming off a 54-26 league win over Groton (Groton, NY). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
The Sabers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Whitney Point lost by Windsor Central (Windsor, NY), 50-20, in a non-league challenge.
