The Thomas A. Edison Owls (Philadelphia, PA) football trounced the visiting Overbrook Panthers (Philadelphia, PA), 54-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Owls now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech for a Philadelphia Public - Liberty contest on Friday, October 3. Thomas A. Edison will battle a squad coming off a 18-6 league loss to Samuel Fels (Philadelphia, PA). The record now stands at 0-6.

Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Academy at Palumbo Griffin (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 3. Overbrook will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Griffin go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 14-12 league win over Benjamin Franklin (Philadelphia, PA).
