The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), witnessed Valley View's football squad wallop Paragould by a tally of 35-0.

The Blazers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harding Academy (Searcy, AR). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Harding Academy crushed Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR), 36-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams battle the Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR) in a 5A East contest, on Friday, October 3. Paragould will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 35-12 league loss to Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR).
