Kansas High School Football - Peabody-Burns smashes Pawnee Heights

September 26, 2025: Peabody, KS 66866

The Peabody-Burns Warriors (Peabody, KS) football trounced the visiting Pawnee Heights Tigers (Rozel, KS), 58-26 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marais des Cygnes Valley for a 6-Man Freelance (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 3. Peabody-Burns will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 54-6 non-league win over Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Pawnee Heights drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rolla (Rolla, KS) to battle the Pirates in a non-league contest on Friday, October 3. The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Rolla lost 21-0 in their recent league contest against Ingalls (Ingalls, KS)
