Nebraska High School Football - Wauneta-Palisade smashes Paxton

September 26, 2025: Wauneta, NE 69045

The Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE) football trounced the visiting Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE), 66-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Broncos now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sumner-Eddyville-Miller for a D6 District 4 (6 Man) contest on Friday, October 3. Wauneta-Palisade will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 61-28 league win over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a D6 District 4 (6 Man) contest, on Friday, October 3. Paxton will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 45-30 league loss to Southwest (Bartley, NE).
