In Friday's league match, the host Plainview Indians football squad scored a good 42-21 triumph over the Purcell Dragons.
The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Panthers go into the 3A District 1 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Pauls Valley was dropped by Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK), 42-0, in a league battle.
The Dragons now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Kingfisher for a 3A District 1 battle on Friday, October 3. Purcell will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-1.
