Plainview Pirates (Plainview, NE) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad crush the host Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats (Clearwater, NE), 41-7 in a league test.

The Pirates now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge for a D1 District 4 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 3. Plainview will meet a Bears squad coming off a 34-31 league loss to Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE). The Bears record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE) to meet the Eagles in a D1 District 4 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 3. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Lutheran-Northeast lost 70-12 in their recent league challenge against Stanton (Stanton, NE)
