The Platteview Trojans football squad (Springfield, NE), was routed 40-7 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE)

The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Crete (Crete, NE). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Crete was routed by York (York, NE), 21-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) in a B District 2 battle, on Thursday, October 2. Platteview will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Griffins go into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 38-7 league win over Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE).
