Texas High School Football - Premont crushed by Refugio

The Refugio Bobcats walloped the visiting Premont Cowboys football team by a score of 54-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the Kaufer Seahawks (Riviera, TX) in a 2A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Refugio will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Seahawks go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 70-14 league loss to Santa Maria (Santa Maria, TX).

The Cowboys (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Freer (Freer, TX). The Buckaroos go into the 2A-1 Region IV District 16 test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Freer triumphed over Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX), 35-32, in a league test.
