The Riverside Academy Rebels football squad scored 41 points and restricted the host St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons to 0 in the Rebels non-league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Vermilion Catholic Eagles (Abbeville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. Riverside Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 24-14 non-league loss to Erath (Erath, LA).
The Falcons (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Hannan was ripped by Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 27-19, in a non-league challenge.
