The Norsemen now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dike-New Hartford for a 2A Group 4 test on Friday, October 3. Roland-Story will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 21-6 league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Vinton-Shellsburg drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Oelwein (Oelwein, IA) to face the Huskies in a 2A Group 4 challenge on Friday, October 3. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Oelwein lost 63-19 in their recent league challenge against Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA)
