Colorado High School Football - Simla can't hold off Sedgwick County

September 26, 2025: Julesburg, CO 80737

The Sedgwick County Cougars got by the visiting Simla Cubs football team by a score of 24-23 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles (Greeley, CO) in a A-8 Plains (8 Man) test, on Friday, October 3. Sedgwick County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 34-8 non-league loss to Akron (Akron, CO).

With the defeat, Simla drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Calhan (Calhan, CO) to meet the Bulldogs in a A-8 Black Forest (8 Man) test on Friday, October 3. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-3. Calhan lost 18-14 in their recent league test against Elbert (Elbert, CO)
