    The St. Paul Swordsmen football team (Santa Fe Springs, CA), was crushed 49-8 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Servite Friars (Anaheim, CA)

    With the win, Servite advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Friars host Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a Trinity bout on Friday, October 3. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 3-2. Santa Margarita lost 14-0 in their recent non-league contest against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV)

    Coming up next, the Swordsmen confront the Cathedral Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA) in a Angelus contest, on Friday, October 3. St. Paul will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Phantoms enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 35-28 non-league loss to Chaminade (West Hills, CA).
