Arkansas High School Football - Sheridan wallops West Memphis

September 26, 2025: West Memphis, AR 72301

The Sheridan Yellowjackets football team scored 64 points and restricted the host West Memphis Blue Devils to 20 in the Yellowjackets league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) in a 6A East challenge, on Friday, October 3. Sheridan will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Hurricane go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 55-24 league loss to Benton (Benton, AR).

The Blue Devils (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Catholic (Little Rock, AR). The Rockets go into the 6A East challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Catholic was ripped by El Dorado (El Dorado, AR), 49-31, in a league challenge.
