The Texhoma/Goodwell (Texhoma, OK) football were winner over the visiting Southwest Covenant Patriots (Yukon, OK), 34-7 in Friday's league outing.
The now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mooreland for a A-II District 1 game on Friday, October 3. Texhoma/Goodwell will face a Bearcats team coming off a 43-8 non-league loss to Crescent (Crescent, OK). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-3.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Mangum (Mangum, OK). The Tigers enter the A-II District 1 game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Mangum ran past Apache (Apache, OK), 56-0, in a league outing.
