Illinois High School Football - St. Charles East sneaks past Wheaton North

The St. Charles East Fighting Saints football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Wheaton North Falcons to 20 in the Fighting Saints league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Saints now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Charles North for a DuKane test on Friday, October 3. St. Charles East will meet a North Stars squad coming off a 43-42 league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL). The North Stars record now stands at 5-0.

The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers go into the DuKane challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton-Warrenville South nipped Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL), 35-28, in a league challenge.
