Kentucky High School Football - W.E.B. DuBois Academy tops Washington County

The W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Washington County Commanders to 13 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lexington Christian for a 2A District 4 test on Friday, October 3. W.E.B. DuBois Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
The Commanders (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY). The Generals go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Thomas Nelson lost by Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 59-7, in a non-league challenge.
