In Friday's non-league game, the Rigby Trojans (Rigby, ID) football team triumphed over the visiting Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID), by a tally of 54-14.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Rexburg, ID). The Bobcats enter the contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Madison was trounced by Thunder Ridge (Idaho Falls, ID), 47-34, in a league bout.
