Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) and the visiting Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA), observed Aptos's volleyball team top Terra Nova by a count of 2-0.

The Mariners (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA). The Pirates go into the test with a 6-5 record.

The Tigers now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Aragon for a challenge on Monday, September 29. Terra Nova will meet a Dons team coming off a 2-0 league win over Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Dons record now stands at 6-8.
