With the win, Homewood-Flossmoor improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Vikings host Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-10. Downers Grove North lost 40-0 in their recent league test against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)

With the defeat, Joliet Central drops to 1-14 on the campaign. The Steelmen travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to meet the Cougars in a test on Monday, September 29. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-11. Plainfield South lost 34-32 in their recent non-league test against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL)
