Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID) boosters went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their soccer squad prevail over the visiting Century Diamondbacks (Pocatello, ID), 4-0 in a non-league outing.
The Wolverines (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID). The Bruins go into the 5A Great Basin outing with a 12-0 record. In their last outing, Twin Falls got by Burley (Burley, ID), 3-0, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Diamondbacks clash with the Snake River Panthers (Blackfoot, ID) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 29. Century will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 3-8 record after their 4-0 league loss to American Falls (American Falls, ID).
