In Friday's league outing, the host Portland Highlanders soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Hale Ray Noises.

The Highlanders (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Wildcats enter the Shoreline outing with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Old Lyme edged Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 3-2, in a league test.

The Noises now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coginchaug Regional for a Shoreline test on Tuesday, September 30. Hale Ray will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 league loss to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-4.
