In their next game, the Falcons face the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, October 10. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 38-0 non-league loss to Fortuna (Fortuna, CA).

The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, River Valley lost by Davis Sr. (Davis, CA), 20-0, in a non-league challenge.
