Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Colusa RedHawks (Colusa, CA), 21-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Pierce advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bears travel to East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA) to confront the Spartans in a match on Friday, October 3. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 4-1. East Nicolaus won 20-0 in their recent league match against Willows (Willows, CA)

Coming up next, the RedHawks confront the Winters Warriors (Winters, CA) in a match, on Friday, October 3. Colusa will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Durham (Durham, CA).
