The Hoover Patriots football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Sanger West Hornets to 18 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fresno for a test on Thursday, October 2. Hoover will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 28-0 league loss to McLane (Fresno, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Sanger West drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Madera South (Madera, CA) to meet the Stallions in a test on Friday, October 3. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 1-4. Madera South lost 30-6 in their recent league test against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA)
